Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the e-impaqc.com website operated by e-IMPAQc ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing e-impaqc.com you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. You have read and accepted the Terms of Use, Disclaimer and Privacy Policy and agree to abide by them.
  2. Use of the website includes accessing, browsing, searching, use of any service which we may provide or registering to use the website solely for your own personal use.
  3. All material contained on this website (including its selection and arrangement) is protected by copyright or other proprietary rights which belong to Dr. Sylvie Lambert, Project Lead of the e-IMPAQc Project.
  4. “Material” means anything that includes (but not limited to) texts, documents, designs, reports, photographs, drawings, plans, specifications, tools, resources, computer software, codes, surveys and databases.

  5. All data obtained by e-IMPAQc, through the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociauxde l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, is held and used in compliance with the Act respecting Access to Documents held by public bodies and the Protection of Personal Information, CQLR, c. A-2.1. and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, CQLR, c. P-39.1.
  6. You may download and/or print off one copy of extracts of any page(s) from the website for your own personal use and you may, in a non-commercial context, draw the attention of others to content posted on the website.
  7. You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any material you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not further use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

    You must not use or distribute any material on the website for commercial purposes without Dr. Sylvie Lambert’s prior consent in writing.

    If you print off, copy or download any part of our website in breach of these Terms of Use, your right to use the website and any related material will cease immediately and you will have to return or destroy any copies of the material you have made. These Terms of Use shall continue to apply in respect of any such material.

  8. You must acknowledge e-IMPAQc and/or any identified contributors as the author(s) of content on the website.
  9. You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, copy or adapt any software or other code or scripts that form part of the website nor attempt to transmit to or via the website any information that contains a virus, worm, trojan, or other harmful or disruptive programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.
  10. Where you transmit material to us you grant us the non-exclusive worldwide right to use and distribute such material in all media, now known or hereinafter invented, without any further obligation to you.
  11. You may not link to this site, nor frame it, without Dr. Sylvie Lambert’s prior consent in writing.
  12. e-IMPAQc has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services linked to on the website. e-IMPAQc shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
  13. You agree that your use of this website is at your sole risk and is provided by us on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We give no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, in connection with the website including but not limited to warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for any particular purpose or non-infringement of third-party rights. To the extent that it is lawfully possible to do so, we make no warranty that:
    • (a) the website and/or any information will meet your requirements,
    • (b) your access to and use of the website will be error-free,
    • (c) any errors or inaccuracies will be corrected.

    Further, if your use of the website results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or data, this will not be at our risk or expense.

    e-IMPAQc does not guarantee that the website, or any content on it, will always be available or that access to it will be uninterrupted. Access to the website is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of the website without notice. e-IMPAQc will not be liable to you if for any reason the website (or any part, feature of or service under the website) is removed or is unavailable at any time or for any period.

  14. You agree to indemnify us in respect of any and all losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) incurred by us in connection with any breach of these terms and conditions by you or anyone using your internet connection to access the website.
  15. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use will not be considered a waiver of rights. If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use will remain in effect. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer form the entire agreement between us in connection with your use of the website and supersede and replace all other prior agreements we might have between us.
  16. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If we need to change our Terms, we will post changes on this page without notice to you. You should review the Terms of Use periodically for changes.
  17. Any legal action or proceedings arising between you and Dr. Sylvie Lambert in relation to this website shall be governed by the laws of Canada and of Quebec and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Quebec courts or tribunals of the judicial district of Montreal (Quebec), Canada.

Privacy Policy

e-IMPAQc and Dr. Sylvie Lambert respect your right to privacy. We will not sell, trade or rent your information to any third parties without your consent. We may, however, disclose such information where it is necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply our Terms of Use or to protect our rights and those of other users. We cannot absolutely guarantee the security of the information you supply to us.

All data obtained by e-IMPAQc, through the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, is held and used in compliance with the Act respecting Access to Documents held by public bodies and the Protection of Personal Information, CQLR, c. If you choose to provide us with personal information in an e-mail or by filling out a contact form on our site, we will use that information to help us obtain the information you request and to respond to your message. e-IMPAQc does not collect personal information for commercial marketing or distribution to private organizations.

We may use personal data for the provision of demographic information of an aggregated and collective nature for our own analysis of website usage and other similar research and statistics. We may share this with third parties in an anonymous format that does not allow you to be identified.

In order to make the website more responsive to our users’ requirements, we use “cookies” (information sent from a web server to your browser identifying the internet sites you visit) to enable us to tailor the website’s content to your interests. We may also use cookies to track the pages of the website that are most visited to identify which are of most interest. You can set your browser not to accept cookies, but this may affect your experience of the website.
